Sunset Drives
3 hrs sunset drive into Isimangaliso Wetland park. Guests get to enjoy some cold drinks (coke, beer, wine and water) whilst enjoying the South African wildlife and sunset.
Turtle Tours
Welcome to our beautiful coastline in South Africa with an emphasis on the majestic Sea Turtle. Our North Coast is home to dozens of beaches for turtle, Leatherback and Loggerhead. The tours are seasonal November to February and only in low tide, also only run over an evening.
Fishing Trips
Daily deep-sea fishing trips are available. Come and enjoy the freshest fish you caught on the day. Enjoy 6-7 hours on the ocean to catch your biggest fish. Tackle and bait are provided.
Whale Tours
Whale watching is one of the biggest activities that tourists love to engage in. For them, seeing whales is a once-in-a-lifetime dream. Seasonal from June to November.
Horse Riding
Enjoy a 1 or 2 hour beach horse ride (tide permitted), 1 or 2 hour game ride or a combo ride beach and bush. This ride is in St Lucia Wetland Park (iSimangaliso). Tours are for beginners or experience riders.
Cultural Evening
A bit different to the cultural tour. Guests get to enjoy some traditional Zulu dancing, Isizulu lesson and traditional meal. Starts at 6pm and is enjoyed from the comfort of the lodge.
Night Drives
On the Night Drive Safari you may encounter various local nocturnal residents, often including Hippo, Buffalo, Spotted Eagle Owls, Nightjars, Kudu, Waterbuck, Crocodile and even Side-striped Jackal, Python and Leopard.
Walking Safaris
Bird WatchingThere are many unique trails lasting from a half an hour to three hours in and around the village of St. Lucia. One of these trails winds through dune forest ending overlooking the ocean, bird life and Antelope are plentiful on these walks.
